WHAT YOU MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT THE VATICAN CITY - Vatican City the smallest country in the world
The Vatican City the smallest country in the world, headed by the Pope/Papal/Pontiff, Pope Francis (born Jorge Mario Bergoglio). Vatican City is an independent nation with its constitution, postal codes, flag, and anthem, it is located just a few kilometres from Rome and is technically surrounded by Rome, Italy. Vatican City is the headquarters of the Roman Catholic Church and is approximately 110 acres. It can be reached easily by metro or bus from downtown Rome. The Vatican is a sovereign country and not part of Italy as some may think.
I finally got to experience the world’s no.1 airline, Qatar Airways, the no.1 airline worldwide. This is the official airline of Qatar, my Comments!? ( see my review of the service and overall experience on Qatar Airwayshere). Note to Caribbean Airlines, the official airlines of Trinidad and Tobago. You are still the no.1 airlines when it comes to legroom space in the economy seating. I must admit…very spacious and comfortable, perfect for tall travellers. This is a short synopsis of what to expect and what I observed/experienced as a female solo traveller in Doha, Qatar.
The first step in how to plan a solo vacation is to already have an idea as to which countries you will like to visit (see my Destination page for some ideas) and to start the booking process/checks at least 3 months in advance. What are you looking for, sea, sun, adventure, snow, culture? Having this in mind, the next step is to do a visa check to see if you need a visa, remember if you do, it will add to your vacation overall cost, no matter how small.
You then visit Google Wikipedia and check for your country, here you will find all the countries you will need Visa to visit on one list.
